Hello

I’m Lauren!  I am very passionate about travel, writing, art, graphic design, photography, and other creative endeavors!  I also love being outdoors and exploring nature and wildlife!  I enjoy creating new experiences and trying new things whenever possible.

Overall, I am a positive person who enjoys the little things in life.  I enjoy capturing and expressing my life and travel experiences through my writing and photography.  I hope to continue traveling in the future, but for now I’ll continue recounting my travel experiences…

 

The Start of the Wanderlust…

In recent years, I have fallen in love with travel as I have had the opportunity to both travel and live abroad in several different countries. In my experiences living abroad, I have had the chance to learn about and experience firsthand new cultures, customs, holidays, languages, foods, and communicate with people from around the world.

I recently returned from living in Asia for 8 months.  During this time, I had the opportunity to spend six months teaching English as second language in a secondary school in Thailand while also getting to explore some of the beautiful destinations this country has to offer!  Following my time teaching, I had the opportunity to travel in some other nearby countries including Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan!  I’ve also spent a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica where I got to travel in many of the beautiful destinations throughout the country as well as in Panama!
